Services
I offer Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT), as well as more general, explorative, and reflective psychotherapy to support perspective, discovery, and skill development. I provide Differential Diagnostic Evaluations and Reproductive Mental Health Assessments to evaluate risk for or experiences of recurrent mood disorders. My services align with best clinical practices and evolve to incorporate new scientific knowledge and insights.
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
In IPT, there is a focus on the connection between mental health and interpersonal life events. IPT helps individuals better navigate life changes, relationship conflicts, grief, and loneliness. Through IPT, individuals learn about mental health, cope with and adapt to life events, and reduce interpersonal distress.
Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT)
IPSRT is an integrated approach that combines IPT with Social Rhythm Therapy (SRT). SRT focuses on creating and maintaining regular daily routines to support overall well-being. Life events — big or small, positive or negative, expected or unexpected — can disrupt these routines and destabilize the body's circadian rhythms, such as the sleep-wake cycle. For some, these disruptions can trigger or worsen mental health symptoms. By focusing on creating and stabilizing rhythms and improving interpersonal relationships, IPSRT helps individuals find balance and health. This therapy is particularly effective for those with recurrent depression or bipolar disorder.
Differential Diagnostic Evaluations
These evaluations are thorough assessments that help clarify or diagnose (i.e., label) mental health experiences. We specialize in evaluating risk for or experiences of recurrent mood disorders, including bipolar disorder.
Reproductive Mental Health Assessments
These assessments are designed to support individuals and their healthcare providers in identifying and addressing mental health needs related to reproductive health across the lifespan, including before, during, or following menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause.
